To provide a college scholarship to graduating high school senior from a Forsyth County high school who will attend an accredited four-year college or university to be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors attending a Forsyth County high school and residents in the Winston-Salem’s Foundation service area; demonstrate character and purpose as evidenced in school, community, church, and work activities; achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with strong course selection; demonstrate financial need (however, the scholarship is not restricted to lower family incomes).
Selection will be based on the committee’s criteria.
