To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a specific field of study and who are most in need.
Applicants must be Cheatham County, Tennessee residents for a minimum period of one year; must have a high school diploma or GED with a GPA of 2.0 or better; must attend an accredited college, university, or technical school and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or better.
Recipients are selected based on academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, recommendations about leadership and character, merit, and financial need.
