To encourage graduating seniors of Ritchie County High School to pursue their education.
Applicants must be Ritchie County High School graduating seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are enrolled as full-time students in accredited four-year colleges or universities.
Preference will be given to students planning to major in the field of education administration, music, geology/ petroleum engineering or education. Selection of recipients will be based on ability to overcome obstacles, strong work ethic, interest in community service, leadership ability, and financial need.
