To encourage and support students who are pursuing post-secondary education in environmental studies.
Applicant must be a Vermont resident seeking an undergraduate, graduate, or professional degree in environmental studies; must be enrolled at least one-quarter time at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding; must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement and/or service.
Selection is based on essay, recommendation letters, financial need, and academic achievement. Preference is given to students seeking a degree in aquatic environmental studies, including watershed management, water resources education, and limnology.
