To provide outstanding minority students financial assistance in pursuing an information technology-related degree.
Applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States; must be a graduating high school senior or current college student in good standing at the time of their application and graduating high school seniors at the time of their application; must be an active member of BDPA; must demonstrate academic achievement with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; must be pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering, or an information technology related discipline.
Selection is evaluated based on academic excellence; exceptional leadership potential and impact through service to their communities.
