Applicants must be in the 7th grade entering 8th grade; have mostly ‘A’ grades and no ‘Cs’ or below in the past two years; have a family with unmet financial need; and planning to attend high school in the U.S.; must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
Selection is based on academic ability and high achievement and intelligence, unmet financial need, will to succeed, leadership and public service, critical-thinking ability and appreciation for, or participation in, the arts and humanities, music, art, literature or similar fields.
